Margaret Anne Gunter is in her third year of harp performance study under Dr. Jaymee Haefner at the University of North Texas. Originally from Opelika, Alabama, she enjoys broadening the reach of the harp by giving volunteer concerts and by working with composers. She has won numerous competitions, including the 2022 Jacqueline Avent Concerto Competition at the Sewanee Summer Music Festival, 2023 UNT Concerto Competition, and First Prize in the Advanced Division of the American Harp Society 25th National Competition. Currently an official College of Music Ambassador, Margaret Anne hopes to one day use her professional skills and passion for service as a harpist in the US Armed Forces.
