Spanning four ​countries​ and one hundred years from 1901 to 2004, the Anderson mother and

son duo present original and transcribed music for harp and cello. The surprising versatility and

expressive possibilities of this combination are explored with an arrangement covering an entire

orchestra in the revered Mahler "Adagietto," and new adaptations of works for cello and piano

by Debussy, Pärt, and Boulanger. The Rabens "Meditation on a Fallen Leaf" is original for harp,

with the option of cello instead of French horn indicated by the composer.
