About the event

Rosalie Gilbert is an active professional harpist, with over two decades of experience in solo, ensemble, and freelance performance. She started playing the harp at the age of eight when her mom asked her if she wanted to try out a musical instrument. The harp was the most exciting option available, and surprisingly, the cheapest as well. Rosalie fell in love immediately - the rest is history. Rosalie pursued a Bachelor of Music degree in harp performance at The Cleveland Institute of Music, and a Master of Music degree from The University of Colorado in Boulder. Her teachers have included notable harpists Yolanda Kondonassis, Jeanne Chalifoux, Alice Chalifoux, and Paula Page.

A firm believer in the importance of musical education, Rosalie is a Suzuki registered harp teacher through Book 3. Her students range in age from 4-70+, and in ability from beginners through advanced players. Rosalie particularly enjoys starting new students of any age, and has immediate openings for students in her new studio in Bedford, TX.
